An Introduction to the Practice

 

This is one of the oldest Practices in Rock Ferry. It has passed through several generations of patients and Doctors since 1930.

The premises were altered and modernised in 1982. In 1995 the practice was again expanded to include a new extension and the addition of the adjoining building.
The existing premises also underwent a major refurbishment in 1999. The end of 2004 saw the start of more expansion work this is completed in January 2006. In March 2001, the Practice welcomed Dr.Farooqi patients from Argyle Health Centre. We also welcomed Dr J McKay and his patients in April 2003 and in August 2003 we welcomed some of Dr Dwevedi's patients.

The surgery includes:
Basement-

Gym and shower room for staff use.

Ground Floor

Four GP consulting rooms, One Minor Surgery Room, Two clinic rooms, One nurse treatment room, One reception office, One reception area - desk, one enquiry area- desk, two waiting area, one disabled toilet.
Chemist There is a Pharmacy adjoined the practice.

First Floor

Computer room, Manager's office, Administration Office, Staff Room/ Kitchen, Training room/ meeting room and Staff toilet.

Access for Disabled There is a ramp at the front to enable wheelchairs easy access

We retain from the past the best traditions of family medical practice together with a friendly atmosphere.
